We realise that the present crisis isn’t a blip in our current operations, instead, it’ll have a long-term impact on the world and funding. While it’s also not just a social sector crisis and has significant economic, political and social ramifications, this is often also a chance for organisations to reassess their role within the social impact ecosystem. As an organisation focused on delivering impact, we are actively exploring, discussing and searching to co-create the proper solutions at the purpose of need. We are a part of collaboratives and collectives to make sure there’s amplification and synergies between all support work.

At CCAS we are leveraging our experience and expertise within the ecosystem to combat COVID-19 through a four-pronged response. Here are a number of these key measures we are taking:

  1. Providing food, medicine and hygiene kits
  2. Maintaining critical health systems
  3. Spreading information and health messaging
  4. Supporting women and young people
  5. Getting money to families for basic necessities
  6. Supporting people with disabilities
  7. Providing transport in lockdown
  8. Getting funds and emergency relief to vulnerable communities
